The Birds - Billy, Snowy and Cornelius have found themselves at a loss without their daily dose of '007' since the James Bond movie marathon has ended on Sky. The noise level has risen accordingly and this week they decided to show their displeasure at Sky's current selection of films by mobbing my poor husband whilst he ate his lunch.

Using a distracting hit and run technique they landed on his head, arm and shoulder, tiptoed their way down to his plate where they pecked and trampled his sandwiches to death before flying back to their house duly satisfied.

No husband was hurt during this unprovoked attack but the same can't be said for the sandwiches which were later disposed of in a humane way.

We are hoping Sky's Christmas selection of films meets with The Birds approval or goodness knows what they'll have planned !!!
