Our first tortoise has come to stay at Castle Garth Guinea Pig Hotel and she has caused much excitement. Tessa is 50 (I know !!!) and is fascinating to watch, literally moving around like a tank, but she really can move when she wants to get somewhere, even manoeuvering across the rocks and around the tree stumps we have in the run for guests to climb on, chew or sleep next to. And, yes, she can actually climb into the extra run without the use of the bridge behind her, although she has used that too.
